Our teachers plan times for children to have opportunities to respond to and be sensitive to natural beauty and human creations. They are made aware of line, color, and form in their own work as well as the works of masters. They are encouraged to experience with all their senses the variety and beauty of the world around them and to find forms of expression. Children are encouraged to respond with feeling, to see their relationship to the natural world around them and to maintain their inborn sense of awe and wonder.
Children are also exposed to the concept of the continuity of all life through the recurring cycles of birth, life and death, and their great mysteries, thus enabling children to sense a connectedness to a reality larger than their immediate world.
