At A Child’s Place it is our goal to help children build their own inner controls so that they will become self-disciplined individuals able to lead a full life and maintain healthy relationships. We have four simple rules for behavior which we expect to be followed:

  1. Respect and help other people who need it.
  2. Take care of yourself.
  3. Take care of school property or the property of others.
  4. You can’t say, “You can’t play.”

We help our students to internalize the rules by direct experience and ongoing discussion related to these experiences.
